Meet Dr. Robinson
Dr. Robinson has been providing orthodontic services for over 30 years and has treated generations of families. He grew up in New Providence and has lived here for over 50 years. He attended New Providence High School where he actively participated in varsity athletics, a vocal ensemble and served as class Vice President.
Dr. Robinson received his Associate Degree from Union College and his Bachelor of Science Degree from Rutgers College. Dr. Robinson was awarded a National Health Service Corp Scholarship to attend Georgetown Dental School where he earned his Doctorate Degree. After graduation, he served four years as a Lieutenant in the Public Health Service in Denver, CO providing dental and orthodontic services for individuals under-resourced. He valued the opportunity to make a difference for his patients, and he loved the outdoor lifestyle that Denver offered. Dr. Robinson returned to New Jersey to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University where he received his Postdoctoral Degree in Orthodontics.
Dr. Robinson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He has received a New Jersey Family’s Favorite Kids’ Doc nomination for 8 consecutive years, and a Jersey Choice Top Orthodontist award for 7 years. He is an Invisalign Preferred Provider. He recently (2023) was selected as Top Dentist (Orthodontist) in NJTopDocs.
Giving back to the community has always been a priority for him. He coached basketball through the town’s Recreation Program, as well as the PAL (Police Athletic League), for more than a decade. He supports the local schools, PAL , NP Recreation Center sports, and other activities.
Dr. Robinson has served on the town council and has been instrumental in spearheading many improvements in New Providence. He’s currently active with the Board of Health. In 2014, Dr. Robinson received the Good Scout Award for his volunteer service and contributions in the community.
Dr. Robinson can often be seen in town walking his pugs and stopping to chat with patients and friends.
